Groundworkers Wanted:

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of construction groundworks
• Competent and safe operation of plant and machinery
• Attendance at toolbox talks and site briefings
• Awareness of service/utilities requirements
• Proficiency in kerbs, braces, edgings, and tarmac work
• Skilled in various aspects of finishings
• Familiarity with internal and external drainage systems (clay & plastic)
• Ability to interpret construction drawings
• Understanding of levels and measurements

Specialist Skills:

• Proficiency in deep drainage work
• Expertise in tarmac surfacing
• Experience in concrete finishing

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• SSTS/SMTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme/ Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• First Aid certification
• CPCS/NPORS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme/National Plant Operators Registration Scheme)
• Street works supervisor certification
• Confined spaces training
• Abrasive wheels training

Essential Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
