Roads and sewers operatives wanted

Locations: Sussex, Dorset, and Southampton

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of drawings, levels, and gradients
• Familiarity with Pipe Lasers & Dumpy levels
• Proficiency in ‘Perfect manhole’ systems
• Experience in deep drainage and adherence to safe working methods
• Adaptability to short-term assignments of 3-6 months per site
• Ideally, experience as a Layer with ‘top man’ and 360 drivers, all with Road and Sewers (R&S) expertise
• Valid tickets for confined spaces, Dumper, Roller, and 360 operations
• Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship
• Safe and qualified operation of plant and machinery
• Attendance at toolbox talks and site briefings
• Awareness of service/utilities requirements
• Proficiency in kerbs, braces, edgings, and tarmac work
• Experience in internal and external drainage (clay and plastic)

Essential Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Valid CSCS/CPSC Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme/Construction Plant Competence Scheme)
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience
